These terms and conditions (Terms and Conditions) regulate the relationship between you, a user of this website www.astutepsych.com.au (Kate Day's Website) and Astute Psychology Pty Lty ('Astute Psychology', 'Kate', 'Kate Day', 'we', 'us', our').

These Terms and Conditions, our Internet Privacy Policy and Disclaimer (together, referred to as Terms and Conditions) apply to you as a visitor to this website. Any information submitted to Astute Psychology Pty Ltd will be collected by Astute Psychology Pty Ltd in accordance with our Privacy Policy.  This website offers visitors information about Astute Psychology Pty Ltd and a contact form to enquire about appointments. By accessing or using this website you agree that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

Face to Face Appointments

 

Appointments attended in-person at Brisbane City Psychologists' rooms are subject to Brisbane City Psychologists' Terms and Conditions.  

​

From 24 May 2021, Astute Psychology is moving premises.  Appointments attended in-person at our Spring Hill location require clients to adhere to any and all advice and/or direction provided from Queensland Health related to the management of COVID-19.  Please check Queensland Health's website for current information.

Please do not attend your appointment in person if you are unwell.  If you are unwell please contact us at kate@astutepsych.com.au to change your appointment to telehealth or to reschedule.  Please be aware that cancellation fees may apply.

Payments & Rebates

 

Current session fees are listed on our "Fees & Rebates" page.  Payment is required on the day the service is provided and can be made by card.  No cash is kept on the premises and therefore cash payments are not accepted.  Cancellation or non-attendance fees must be paid prior to or at the next attended session.

In most situations Medicare rebates can be submitted electronically on your behalf.  If this is not possible, you may need to submit a copy of the invoice and receipt to Medicare or your private health insurer directly to receive the rebate.

Waiting List 

 

If you are unable to secure an appointment at your desired time, you may request to be placed on Astute Psychology's waiting list.  This means you will receive an SMS and/or email to advise when an appointment becomes available.  To secure the appointment, you will need to follow the online booking link and wait to receive confirmation of your booking.  Please contact us at kate@astutepsych.com.au should you wish to be removed from the waiting list.
